Every successful campaign has different goals, but they all have one thing in common—a solid plan to get there. Hello, my name is Vern Henricks, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Manhattan Christian College and I’m excited to be a part of the Circleville Christian Church campaign ministry team as your consultant.
I have been blessed to be involved in development, leadership and consulting for over twenty-eight years. Under the Lord's blessing and guidance, I have focused my efforts on building relationships for educational institutions, youth programs and Christian ministries. My personal mission statement is; To make a difference in someone’s life every day.
I believe that Circleville Christian Church is well-prepared and I am looking forward to spending Celebration Sunday with you on August 19. In preparation for this campaign we have focused on five essential elements;
- Develop a credible cause—a vision that can be clearly stated.
- Research campaign potential—key donors and potential hurdles.
- Establish leadership—recruit the right people to ask the right people.
- Build ownership among staff, board, volunteer leaders and constituents.
- Pray, pray, pray at every opportunity and ask others to join you.
Over the years I have found that people give because: 1) they believe in the mission and vision of the organization, 2) they have a relationship and trust in the leadership, 3) the cause is worthy and 4) they want to make a difference. Before Celebration Sunday, I ask that you take time to prayerfully reflect on what God has planned for you and what your personal commitment will be in this Kingdom building effort.
I look forward to meeting everyone on August 19 as we celebrate the successful launching of this campaign. Please join me in helping your ministry's goal with expanding the Kingdom of God.
