What time is church?
We currently offer several worship experience times to choose from. Join us every Sunday at 8:00am for our traditional piano/hymn service, 9:15am for Cowboy Church (a down-home worship experience with a country and bluegrass band), or 10:45am to rock it down with our modern worship band with drums, keys, electric guitars, etc… Feel free to show up early to any of our services, grab a coffee and some sweets in the lobby and hang out and relax before the service begins.
What do I wear?
This is easy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you’re not. Whether you come as a suited business man or in shorts and flip-flops, that is fine with us. Going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of an uncertain experience. To help avoid any worries, here’s a quick summary of what you can expect at Circleville Christian:
When you arrive, spend a few moments hanging out in the lobby, getting to know the people around you. Grab a freshly brewed coffee, then make your way to the auditorium. Find a seat wherever you feel comfortable. No matter where you sit, you’ll get great sound and be able to see everything on our large screen above the stage.
The service begins with music from one of our worship teams. Feel free to sing along and engage in worship or just sit back and relax. We place a high standard of excellence in the area of music and we are sure you will love our sound. After a few songs and maybe a video or two, Senior Minister Tim Ahlgren will begin teaching the weeks’ message. Tim’ sermons are relevant, engaging and relaxed. No matter where you are on your journey with the Lord, the message presented is always applicable and easy to follow.
What about my kids?
We have a full Sunday learning program for kids and adults at 9:15 during the Cowboy Church service. Bring your kids, drop them off at one of our age/grade appropriate classes and then… you can check out one of our many different classes set up for adults, or check out the Cowboy Service. You and the kids will probably find someone you know but don’t worry if you don’t… Church is a great place to meet some really great people! In fact, the only thing really missing at CCC, is you!
